Movie 1 – Escape from Hell (1980 - 92 Minutes)
Filmed in 1980, this movie features voiceovers and a cast made up of Italians and Spaniards. It’s also the most brutal of the three films. Expect a fair amount of rape scenes, as two evil prison guards take advantage of more than a couple prisoners. There are amusing catfights and some of the insults these girls trade with one another are hilarious. Don’t go into this thinking you’ll get hardcore action or great views of pussy. Some fine ladies make up the cast, (particularly characters like Kate and Zairea,) but the pubic bushes prevent ideal shots of their sweetmeats. The violence, in combination with the sex, makes this an intriguing piece of work. The story isn’t complex by any means, but captivating enough.
Movie 2 – Women in Cell Block 7 (1973 - 99 Minutes)
This was my least favorite of the three films. Like Escape from Hell, it’s got voiceovers, some sexy pieces of ass and an Italian cast. However, I’d say the writers went a little overboard with the story. It’s about a female Interpol agent that goes undercover in a women’s prison. She does this so she can determine the cause of a fellow agent’s death. In the process, she meets a lot of crazy and horny characters. One of the girls is a pyromaniac. Then there’s the female warden that scores her share of pussy. The catfights are comical and, just like Escape from Hell, there’s a gang shower scene that allows for some nice views of the inmates’ pubic bushes. No hardcore sex in this one, but there are some laughable action scenes may satisfy viewers. At the end, a flaming car careens off a cliff and crashes into the waters below it. Not the best women in prison movie, yet it has its moments.
Movie 3 – The Hot Box (1972 - 88 Minutes)
Although this is the oldest movie of the three, it’s the best. Four nurses are ambushed by guerrilla forces in the Philippines. They’re needed in the rebel camp because of their knowledge of healing methods, medicine, etc. This movie probably has the fewest sex scenes of the lot, and there are virtually no views of pussy, but the story is both fun and intriguing. Eventually, the guerrillas end up seeming more than a little worthy of the aid that only these nurses can provide. The picture quality in this movie is surprisingly good. Just like the others, there are some pretty entertaining action sequences. The female cast is nice because of variety where looks are concerned. You get a black chick, two blondes and one brunette. All of them have their strengths and keep things interesting throughout.
The Jack Dup Verdict - Women in Cell Block 7 was mostly lame, but the other two movies made for good times. There’s no hardcore action here and not a shaved pussy in sight. Still, some of these girls outdo a lot of today’s so-called porn-stars in the looks department. So long as you don’t go into this expecting hot sex, you’ll probably have fun. Each of the movies has interesting characters and a healthy measure of action. Sometimes, things get brutally violent for the girls, but not so much that it’s off-putting. If it weren’t for the lack of female exposure and the shortage of sex, I’d have given this a higher rating. Still, this makes for fun times if you want something different.
