Strangely enough, this release of "Very Very Bad Santa" is exactly the same ol' previous edition I already reviewed for our same ol' esteemed RanchoCarne. True, it touts remastery in some weird thing called "HDQ Format;" but all this means little to nothing, since the last one was presented in the same resolution. And, mind, that resolution is not the same as your familiar consumer-standard HD. If your DVD player will upconvert to 1080i or 1080p, it'll look good enough - just don't expect anything like what you might find on Bluray or HDDVD.
