There is probably no middle ground on these movies. You either love them or hate them. If you love them, this is for you.

WHY do you publish it? Can\'t you get one reviewer who actually likes it??

I\'ll second that. If you are going to review a genre movie like a gag or bukkake or bondage or whatever, at least try to do an honest assement for people who enjoy the particular fetish. For example: if bukkake completely digusts you, either don\'t review it or be honest (i.e. is it a ripoff, does it deliver what the box promises, etc.)

If we only sent movies to people we knew would love them, we\'d have a review site that does nothing but gushes about the DVDs. We at Rancho Carne pride ourselves on having real people, not a press release from the studio review movies. Sure Kris could have done a better job, but after watching more than a few of the Gag Factor movies, I\'d say he reviewed it as well as he needs to. We have standards here, they\'re just not always very high.

Rancho SHOULD send videos to people who appreciate the particular genre. From there, they can judge how well it serves fans of the genre.
No one learns anything from a \"reviewer\" who simply says \"I don\'t like this kind of video.\"

We have changed our policy. all reviewers now pick their own movies to review, so it\'s more like going to a video store. sometimes you pick one you love, and sometimes you pick one that you hate, but it\'s always 100% in the viewer\'s hands.
